I think that either Texas or Alabama will win by four.

You?

1. Bama 28 - Texas - 21
I think it will be easier for Bama to get 28 then for Texas to get 21.

4. I'm disappointed they actually play.
They should use the kick-ass BCS computer ranking system to determine which team is better, and then crown that team the national champion.

But to address your question: Texas by 3.

12. Texas will win because they don't have to travel as far
No clue about the score though. I haven't successfully predicted a score since the 1981 UNC / UVA basketball semi-finals.

Thank you Matt Daugherty for making that meaningless steal at the end of the game.

15. Texas 36, Bama 12. Another UT QB facing another overrated RB in a title game..
Normally I think the SEC is the best conference, and they probably still are the strongest overall, but their top teams aren't as good this year. UT won't have much trouble with a run-based offense whose defense hasn't faced someone like McCoy yet.

27. you mean none, period
There is no rushing game in the Big 12.

Florida's amazing spread offense was supposed to be too much for us, too.

29. And I'll mean none Friday morning, too.
We haven't beaten a big run defense because we haven't seen one yet. And Florida's "amazing spread offense" didn't look all that tough from over here. They barely beat LSU. You barely beat LSU, too, IIRC, and LSU got beaten by Mississippi and Penn State. Tebow is a curiosity show compared to McCoy. He's not the, um, real McCoy.

Alabama's not a bad team. Probably the second best team, though I'd love to see you play Boisie State to prove it. You'll probably get four field goals, like you did against the bone-crushing defensive powerhouse of Tennessee. And you're lucky--Mack Brown is such a nice guy he'll rein in the hounds when it starts getting out of hand in the third quarter. 36 is about right.

And if you beat us, I'll get serious about it all and congratulate you. :)

19. Please Bama shut down Tebow. And while McCoy is really good he is no Tebow.
RTR. Our defense is filled with Suh quality players, Texas struggled against one.

22. AMEN!
Bamacrat hit it right on the head. Mount Cody and company will shut down the run and pressure the hell out of McCoy. I think Florida was a much tougher team to beat than Texas. If we shut down Superman, McCoy is in big trouble. Roll Tide!

24. Tebow was great--the second best QB this year, probably.
Wish we could have played Florida, instead of Bama. Given us a challenge at least.

And Bama ain't got no one like Suh.

30. So one like Suh? Not a challenege?
You must be joking. Rolando McClain, Mt. Cody, Javier Arenas are all All-Americans, Brandon Deadrick was shot in the arm early in the year and played in the next game and was and has been huge all year. You can be a Texas fan but cmon, if Florida wouldve have challenged yall and we beat the snot out of them then wouldnt that make us better? Also people point to Texas' #1 rush defense, which they do have. But, people fail to point out they got that against Big 12 offenses, which are all pass heavy. That's like having the best pass defense when all you play are teams like Navy and GT. It will be be a great game and Bama and Texas are the two best teams in the country hand down, but Oklahoma almost beat yall, would have if Sam Bradford would have played, since they had no offense. Its awesome when two traditional power houses play for the championship, instead of flash in the pan teams.

20. Bama 34-19.
McCoy is damn good but the two times Texas has faced good defenses they have only scored 16 and 13 points. Granted they won those games but the top SEC defense is a bit different than the top Big 12 D's.

21. Roll Tide......
That Big 12 conference just doesn't play defense like the SEC. Texas really struggled against Nebraska, and I think Alabama has an even stiffer defense. Tide is fired up, Saban is going to have those kids prepared, and provided Rolando Mclain gets over what ever bug he's had, they are going to pressure the hell out of Texas and stymie Colt and company. If they play even close to as well as they did against Florida, Texis is in big trouble. I think Tide wins by at least 14. This is Tide's year to pretty much win it all.
