Wegmans is, bar none, the greatest grocery store ever |
|
The fact that the company has just started carrying Mexican Coca-Cola, Mexican Fanta Orange and various European/Asian only chocolate, including the delicious Aero bar, just reinforces this opinion.

1. Wegmans. Hmmm. Back east, rural, Washington area also. |

Never tried it. Mexican cola? You are aware that ddt is not only widely used in Mexico, but widely promoted? You don't pronounce it Boo Falo, do you? Anyway, we have all that here. And then some. And it's pronounced Boo Falo here. I have to tell them, we say Buff alo. Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll try it when I'm back east. dc

2. Boo Falo? That's just crazy talk |
|
Also, the number of people who don't realize that they're called Buffalo wings because they were created in Buffalo is pretty amazing.

I think I've become jaded after more than 40 years with Weggies--I get irritated at them for pushing their store brand goods, which are awful (poor quality) and burying the name-brand stuff. And I've gone several rounds with them for their rotisserie chickens' shrinkage--these days they're little more than roasted pigeons. x(
However, they could redeem themselves if I can find Mexican Coke in my local Weggies. I'll check the international aisle tomorrow. Thanks for the tip! :hi:
