White House Iron Chef America: The Verdict Is IN!!! The Winning Team is Announced!~!! (spoiler)
The better team won.

It looked close.

The smooth talking of one half of "that other team" had me worried-

Gawd, I hate bullshitters.

YAY!!!

:P

2. K: (spoiler, for realz this time)
The teams were Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali taking on Bobby Flay and White House Chef Cristeta Comerford.

I like Flay and Cristeta.

I also like Emiril, don't like Mario so much, he's really full of shit even if a great chef. I find him smarmy.

Emiril and Mario's dishes looked better and got rave reviews from the judges.

But Flay and Cristeta won, partly because I think they made more of the garden ingredients.

4. I was a little disappointed in the whole thing...
I was expecting healthy dishes. Lots of frying and cream and other not-so-healthy techniques and ingredients were used. I guess I misunderstood the whole point of using fresh produce.

6. I think you're right and I think that's why one team won over the other.
The losing team had done pretty traditional high-calorie rich food, which happened to include vegetables.

The winning team allowed the vegetables to be the stars, to a degree that the losers hadn't.
