Titanic has been #1 for a decade. I wasn't overtaken by Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Dark Night, Harry Potter or Spiderman...even though those films all have devoted, almost religious followings that treat the subject almost like a religion. People go see those movies dozens of times.

Yet, Avatar, which is just a screenplay from out of nowhere with a little bit off buzz which happens to be directed by James Cameron is on pace to beat it? SHENANIGANS! Cameron has found a way to pad his numbers.

35. Hey, I've seen Dark Knight!

I can't watch Titanic...I just can't.

I keep meaning to watch LotR because I know I like them, but at 10 hours it's a little daunting for someone who has the attention span of a ferret drinking a double espresso. My friend can quote all three religiously....kinda scares me.

Haven't seen Pirates yet, but I'll watch it when my buddy borrows it from his friend, and if he doesn't, oh well.

I probably won't see Avatar any time soon. I hate cinemas, and it seems like the kind of flick that begs for a large screen viewing. It probably won't be half as good on tv, but that'll be the only way I see it. The idea of sitting in a crowded sticky floor cinema fills me with anger and dread. :)

I loved the Dark Knight!!!! Yay for me....I saw one!!!! :)
