Holy crap - why didn't anyone tell me about the band "Gossip"?

It took a random perusal through Sunday's newspaper to have heard of them, and then a quick google search to scope a few of their videos, and - wow!

Great music.

The lead singer - who has a voice that's beyond wonderfully cool! - needs to watch her health so she doesn't mama cass herself. She could have a hell of a career if she lives long enough to make it work, and I hope she does.

And it's funny, because this really isn't the kind of music toward which I would normally gravitate; but they do it REALLY well. It's quite compelling! Mostly what I like are musicians who clearly know what they're doing, even if it isn't a genre of music I'm "in to".


p.s. - Radiohead still fucking blows chunks.
