Anyone use a mutual bank?
My banking is via Toronto-Dominion Bank (aka BankNorth in the USA). I've had it with commercial banks fucking the country with rusty iron pokers, although I understand that TD as a Canadian bank was not as complicit as BoA and other US banks in shenanigans. I am looking into more local banks...there's a credit union (DCU) I think I can join via a family relation, and also Middlesex Savings Bank, which is a mutual bank. The 6th largest in the country, although it's small fry by banking standards. MSB is also rather more convenient with a nearby branch compared with the credit union.

Any experiences, pro/con with mutual banks vs. commercial banks? I think so long as I can have online bill pay and deposit checks it won't make much of a difference in my banking activities. It would give me a warmer and fuzzier feeling though.
