My cousin came down to Texas to escape the cold, she is visiting with my Aunt.

We hadn't had warm weather in over a month, and the temp is dropping on Thursday.

We had to go shopping so she would have a some warm to clothes to wear.

All she came with was summer type clothes.

Yep, its winter.

I have bought in a lot of firewood.

Summer is really going to be hard to take now.

1. That reminds me, 'the devil went down to Georgia'. I usually do

a lot of research on weather in a place before I go, so I take appropriate clothing. I never like to be caught out in the rain without an umbrella.
We are having a nice warm week, well low to mid 70's. Usually it's colder this time of year, and I have to go down to Mexico to keep warm.
