What would you do with 20 million tax free dollars? |
|
Apart from donations to charity etc! :)
Me? For starters, I'd like to own an island!

2. 10,000,000 McDoubles and 10,000,000 small fries from McD's. Then I'll |

10. Pay off all my bills. Also my brothers and sisters bills. |
|
renovate my house. Buy Roon his no kill cat shelter. Charitable donations to so many it's impossible to list here. Set up trust funds for my sons, nieces, nephews and the children of a great many friends. Set up a foundation to help people eat, stay warm, have a place to go. Build retirement housing in our village. Start a craft brewery with my son. Take vacations.
And then I guess I'd be broke again!

15. To start, I would pay off all of our debt. |
|
Pay off the debt of both of our families. Buy my mom her own house. Create trust funds for my nieces and nephew. Contribute of to all of our favorite non-profits/charities. Go back to school. Travel the world. Buy homes in Denmark and Ireland. Buy land and build our dream home, including a working farm. Live quietly and contently for the rest of our lives.

16. Build my dream retirement house on the lot where our house burned down |
|
and not worry about having what I want cost 5 or 10 or 20 thousand over budget or only be able to afford 2200 square feet instead of 2400 square feet.
Make a big donation to our local Habitat for Humanity--maybe buy some land for them.
Have to think about the rest of it.

I'd walk away from my job, probably buy a modest second home someplace warm, do some first-class travel to a few places I'd like to see, and then see if I can live off the money and interest for the years I have left.
Also, buy an old building and make it a kickass photo studio... maybe I could get a good deal on Annie Liebowitz' place.
Probably live the life of the starving artist, but without the starving part. Do what I want, and not worry if it makes any money or not.
Oh yeah... help out my family, too. They're doing OK, but a little extra security would be good.
