Artie Lang tried to commit suicide
Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 02:43 PM by rcrush
Artie Lange stabbed himself nine times, say sources

Fans of Artie Lange (and of Howard Stern's show on SIRIUS radio) have been worried about Lange every since he was rushed to the hospital last weekend. Now we know why he's there and why no explanation was given at first: he tried to commit suicide.

Lange stabbed himself nine times and his mother called 911. He lost a lot of blood but doctors were able to save his life.

3. ...and like everything else in his life, he failed again.
Maybe someone should send him a diagram of where his important organs are.

5. He obviously has severe emotional issues...
And he was insightful enough to know it, unlike Howard Stern.

6. I'm not a fan,, but I hope the best for him.
I have been at that stage before, so I can emphasize with him. This is painful, regardless of the method that was chosen.(Although knives aren't my thing) I hope that he can get some answers and some love to get him through this diificult time.
:hurts:

7. He's really a troubled guy. I read his book and was actually surprised at how touched I was
by his story so I wasn't exactly shocked by this report, BUT he needs to take responsbility and seek serious help while he still can.

8. Then if you've read his book....you know as well as I that "taking responsibility" is
pretty much out of the question for him.

Hey, I like Artie. I didn't use to when I first started listening to Stern when he switched to Sirius but Artie grew on me. Then it just became too much and he started bumming me out. A few years ago his misery and drug use were used as fodder for jokes for the show and I had to stop listening because it wasn't funny anymore...it got too sad.

I want the best for him as well but he likes his notoriety too much as the drug addict, depressed sidekick.
