1. I can relate, Writer, to the pain of losing a QB early

:pals:

A good season for Texas, though, and a good career for Colt McCoy ...

2. That's two passes Gilbert threw well, that were dropped. Texas has lost its heart.
Time for a Mack Brown patented pep talk.

The interception didn't help. :(

3. I feel for Gilbert. The pressure must be intense.
Overall, I think it could be worse. Need to get the defense back in the game though.

4. Defense is doing rather well, given Ingram.
And they're playing twice as long as the offense... let's see what happens after the half.

5. They're worn out and demoralized because the offense isn't moving the ball.
It's not over, though. Albama's not as good as they were hyped. Texas is handling their offense well enough. We just don't know how to score.

8. This will be the game called what might have been.
What a game this would have been with McCoy tossing the ball.

9. The real national championship game was played a month ago in the Georgia Dome
December 5, 2009 to be exact.

11. I'm no SEC fan nor even a fan of conference championship games
but it's true.
