1. Yeah.
They used to play at my high school before they became famous. It was slightly before my time there. I never saw them. Oh well.

4. When I was very shy and in university a guy I liked came up to me in the library and
said do you want to go see styx? I said what is styx!! He walked away. It was okay because I liked this guy mostly as a friend and wasn't looking for a boyfriend.

6. It was entertaining
It was almost more a Broadway spectacle a la Cats or Le Mis than a rock concert, but it was fun nonetheless.

And for the music snobs who are sniffing at me, relax. I've met Steve Earle, drank with the Sidewinders when they were Concrete Blonde's opening act, and saw Phish at a tiny nightclub long before they became famous.

7. I saw them.
I am so old I saw Styx when they were an OPENING ACT.

Opening Act: Styx.

Middle act: Climax Blues Band

Headliner: Bachman-Turner Overdrive

The best band: Climax blues band.

This was about 1975 I think. BTO was all over the radio with Takin' Care of Business.
