1. To be fair, I'd rather face a jury of cats than of humans too stupid to get out of jury duty. nt

5. The jury would have to deliberate at 4 in the morning
The cat would be awake, then.

3. Those state census forms were a PITA.
I'm assuming that's what the owner means, as I recall listing pets was one section of it and Federal census data can not be released to the states with individually identifiable data.

The state census handling was so bad that every year I tried to change my occupation on the record and the next year the 'helpful' preprinted form had the same info as the year before. The only thing that did get corrected was when someone moved in or out of the unit. It doesn't surprise me in the least that someone entered the name of a cat as a human, but Sal's probably not old enough to serve. :D

LM, unlike here where a botox appointment is a good enough excuse, it's much harder to duck jury duty in MA.

4. Sal should report for jury duty

with a camera crew.

I'd love to see the expressions in the courthouse.

:)

7. It's a wonder Mr. Peabody wasn't placed in the pool. He made it to 18 and the whole block knew him.

10. I know jury pay isn't all that great
but I wouldn't mind if my cat got off her butt and started earning her keep.
