5. I know the feeling. My 22 yr old moved to NYC today
Took her to the airport this afternoon, started to cry some as I pulled away. My 18 yr old (still lives at home) joked with me "**I'm** still here, you know".

6. I shipped off to Job Corps when I was 17...
My Mother held her composure during the whole trip to the bus station and waited with me until I boarded. Once the bus started to pull out she started bawling really hard and she even followed the bush for a couple of miles.

I found this out years later.

7. I still vividly remember the day the world tilted...I was in the kitchen
doing the dishes and talking to my son and I turned around to look at him and found myself LOOKING UP!

11. Tell him Happy Birthday from us!
Tee Hee, you old? Nawww, you're not old. Time flies by though doesn't it? This past year our oldest grandchild turned 10 and our youngest child turned 30.

14. Does he have a girlfriend?
Makes me wonder - do parents still have the 'talk' with kids?
How is the whole sex thing handled?
With me, I just mentioned things to the kids that led to discussions.

17. It's not so bad that they get older
what's really nice is when you can send them to get the second bottle of wine because you finished the first one and now you can't drive.

Just try to keep yourself young.

20. Mine are 4 and 5 and I am panicking now. I guess it is a bit early but they are growing up so fast.
Plus, how did I become 34 and my brother 37? Wow, time really flies.
