Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

How was your weekend? My weekend was fun. Saturday evening I went to the show as I told you. It was wonderful. I had a lot of fun. Instead of a Picture of the Day I will post some pics from the show (not taken by me).

Sunday I slept long. Then I finally got around sorting all my papers that I collected the whole year. Like bills and salery printouts and account statements. Stuff like that.
And I defrosted my freezer. Good thing it is so cold at the moment, so I could put all the frozen food on the balcony.

In the evening I called Tobin S. It was a very pleasant conversation. Tobin, you have a beautiful voice :)

That was my weekend. Today I will join an International meet-up for the first time. I will tell you about it tomorrow.

Picture(s) of the Day (pics from the show "India"

1. G'mornin!
err.. g'night.

Glad to pop on as I close shop and see ya.

I'm for sure getting up before noon to get my car unstuck. :)

Tobin is, for sure, a cool dude: I bet that was a fun phone call! :woohoo:

6. Good morning MissH!
From the pics it does indeed look like a good show. Glad you enjoyed it.

I was quite lazy this weekend. Met my rowing crew for coffee, and then I headed to yoga. The remainder of the weekend was consumed by outside chores, indoor chores, paying bills, and I baked some lemon biscotti.

This morning not only my computer is running slow, but so am I. :)

9. Thanks for the link.
That's a show that I wouldn't mind seeing.

Forgot to comment on your call to Tobin. He does seem like a nice guy from reading his posts. Glad you got a chance to chat with him.

Brrrrr . . . it's cold again today, but I still plan on walking to work. Got to leave a little earlier than usual to go pay my condo fees. I was too lazy to walk over there yesterday. The only time I went out yesterday was to go to my garage for some wood for my fireplace. And then I smashed a finger between two logs. It still hurts. Maybe I should stay home from work?

10. Yes
you better stay home. The finger might get infected when used too much while writing and typing (except on DU of course)

He is a really nice guy. It was fun chatting with him.

Maybe the show is coming to the U.S. one day too. You would love it.

13. *sigh* Too late.
Finished my shower and now I'm dressed for work. But you are right, I'm going to have to schedule a sick day soon. ;)

Gotta pack my lunch, get bundled up and head out to work.

Wishing you a great day.

2. goodmorning Miss HoneyChurch!
Glad you had such a lovely weekend. The pictures are great! It sure feels good to get your papers in order doesn't it?

I didn't do a whole lot over the weekend. My stepson is here from California and on Saturday night we went out for dinner to celebrate my upcoming b-day.

Tobin is a really great guy. We have the pleasure of calling him friend and enjoyed his company on a couple of occasions.

I hope you have a great day. I'm driving further to work now so leaving earlier. argh. The company I worked for has now moved and it's 20 minutes more of a drive. Not bad if the weather is good but last week we got such a horrid storm

anyway, ...enjoy your day.

When is your b.day?

I really enjoyed our phone call. I think I will call him again :)

Sorry to hear about the longer drive. That sucks, esp. in this weather. I am staying in bed these days until the last minute. And I am more than glad I am an office rat :D

I will tell her hello from you.

5. Good Morning Miss Honeychurch :)
:hi:  :loveya: :pals:

My weekend was a quiet one, I barely left the house. That looked like a wonderful show, glad you enjoyed it! :D

Today should start quietly for me, my usual Monday chore is already done. :woohoo:

Time to start bundling up, it's another cold morning.

With this weather it is the best decision - to stay home and enjoy the warmth :)

11. Better, thank you.
Still a bit tender from the fall, but rested. I won't be doing any sprinting, but that's nothing new. ;)

Have a nice quiet afternoon and evening. After all the work you did yesterday, you deserve it.

12. Hello Miss Honeychurch!
Wow, those pics are fantastic!

You caught the movement of the dancers so well - just beautiful.

Your productive weekend has now inspired me to do the same on my days off. Time will tell...

15. Good Afternoon, MissH
That show looks fantastic - I love the various Indian dance styles!

I've had very little sleep, so I'm exhausted today - but I just need to get through today - I'm on vacation starting tomorrow. I'll be back on the 20th.

Have fun with your meet-up! I can't wait to hear the details.

21. not a good reason
just couldn't fall asleep - worrying about stupid little things.

I'll have to keep an eye on them - I would love to see the show.

Do you know who is going to be at the meet-up tonight?

26. I've seen
that they go to London next year. So maybe in a couple of years they come to the U.S.

I kinda know who is coming, since one had to register online beforehand. But those are all names for me and nothing else.

19. Great pics, Miss H
And thank you very much for the compliment. It was nice to talk to you, too. :) I would really like to be able to speak a second language like you. I've tried to take up Spanish a few times, but I haven't been all that successful in learning it.

I would have got in here sooner if I hadn't slept in. I hope all is well at work today.

23. Good morning Tobin
:hi:  :loveya:

The only way for me to learn English as a second language was to be in the U.S. and being forced to speak it. I tried to learn other languages too but no such luck. I had Russian and French in school and as an adult tried to learn Italian. My knowledge in those languages tends towards zero.

Hey, you have all the right to sleep in :) I wish I could sleep in again ... :D

Yes, it was very fascinating and entertaining. The time just flew by. The even had a guy who made a shadow play. Quite amusing. And amazing what animals one can "produce" by hands.

30. G'day, MissH!
:hi:

Still in the frosty cold SE USA, for at least a couple more days. I didn't play soccer last week with the snow and sleet falling. If it had been dry, I would've played.

That looks like a wonderful play, the photos are excellent!

Later tonight is the renfest cast meeting. We'll see who's coming back for the coming season. :woohoo:

It is snowing here the whole day already. Not heavy but still enough. And it is still cold enough so that the snow sticks to the ground and isn't melting right away. Love it. :)

I agree, whoever took the pics did an execellent job.

Oh ... renfest is coming again :D
