1. I can't get into that show.
I still chuckle at Family Guy. I can't explain why since they both have the same kind of humor. Maybe it's because Peter is an idiot and Cleveland isn't.

How did Cleveland Jr. have time to get so fat while Stewie is still one year old?

2. Here's why I continue to watch and support it.

King of the Hill is an example of the kind of shows we get when shows that have edgier and more esoteric humor don't get viewership. I hated KOTH. It was 13 seasons of dull, lifeless, repetitive, C- humor that took up a slot that could have gone to something better. People watched it though because it always had a good time slot and there wasn't really much else on.

While shows like The Cleveland Show and American Dad aren't as funny as Family Guy, they are miles beyond KOTH. There is a lot to like about The Cleveland Show and American Dad. While they might not hit home-runs all the time, they never strike out. I think The Cleveland Show has a lot of potential, it just needs to figure it's own formula out.

3. Fox Cancelled The Brilliant Futurama But Kept That Dreck
That time slot should have been for Futurama.

6. Exactly
Futurama was one of the best shows that Fox ever had. I still cannot fathom canceling it and letting KOTH live for 13 seasons.

4. KOTH was boring as hell.
I tried watching it when it first came out and I couldnt sit through it. I thought it would be funny since I lived in Texas but really it's just about rednecks in Texas. Texas is more than old white hicks.

7. Here's what I find interesting.
While at first appearances the two shows have much in common together, the sentimentality of the Cleveland Show is somehow different. It's much more like a classic sitcom than Family Guy, and it appears to be intentional.

5. Good stuff.
It's way better than what goes for The Simpsons nowadays.
