1. Only cats can have kittens. You can only have a human baby.
However, while I cannot affirm your biological ability to have kittens, I can and do very much affirm your RIGHT to have kittens!

3. How many can you have before the whole house reeks of cat litter?
A high school friend of mine's parents had a dozen or more cats in the house at any one time, and the odors inside that place were always less than pleasant. "Ammonia overload" is not a nice fragrance.

You need at least a dozen.

15. At one point in the 80's when I was doing rescue and fostering
we had 15. We had to have the vet make house calls for annual shots LOL.

12. My neighborhood has quite a few feral cats,
several are going to have kittens. Looking forward to more dead kittens in my yard and driveway. People drive like crazy down my road.

7. Every life should have nine cats
If you can afford kittens, and your three kittehs don't mind sharing the house with them, go for it!

9. Serious answer, because I'm a nerd
Kittens are perhaps the DUMBEST things on earth. They find new and exciting ways to try to end their lives - either directly, by eating glass or chewing linlve wires, or indirectly, like destroying something irreplaceable you cherish - about every three seconds. They think "toe hunter" is the funnest game EVER, even or maybe especially once they realize those toes are attached to you. They have no "off" switch.

They're also a lot of fun, extremely cute (it keeps them alive), very loving and worth the aggravation. Plus they turn into cats!

10. I had a professor in college who had been up to 15 cats.....
.
She was a HARDcore alcoholic who rationalized that if she were with
her cats, she wasn't really drinking alone.
.
Took home every stray she encountered.
.
Realized one day that the "shhhhCatLadyshhhhhh" that she thought the
neighborhood kids were whispering about was HER.
.
Started AA the next day and had been clean & sober for over 10 years
when I met her.
.

14. Every neighborhood should have one crazy cat person.
If there isn't one, then go for it on an interim basis.

However, if an gibberish-speaking octogenarian lady with a lazy eye moves onto your block, those privileges must pass on to her.
