My new client, as of today...a very well-known local Japanese restaurant. YEAH, baby.

Negotiations began in AUGUST (such is the nature of sales, and the nature of business in a recession heading into the holidays).

Client emailed me TODAY and basically said "let's DO this."

I am THRILLED, for a couple of reasons. First, I love Japanese culture, Japanese food, JPOP (as some of you may have already gathered from my Lounge posts).

SECOND, this place is very well-known and well-regarded. When I tell people "I did the Website for..."

...there will be IMMEDIATE name recognition and beaucoups credibility points. It will allow me to aggressively market my services to other, similar restaurants.

The holidays were HELL. The first week of January was deader than a doornail.

SECOND week of January? Things started POPPING, right and left, some that I'd had in the works for MONTHS.

Things ARE getting better.

8. A great chef, born in Italy and he and his brother have

restaurants in Japan.
He lives in both countries
I was looking at the photos of his creations on his web site today.
He had teamed up with Chateau Marguax for a few events.
The photos are magnificent.
so........I follow Amerigo Vespucci's photos,and since he was keeping the name secret for now
I thought I'd have some fun with posting Cuomo's name.
