I've got a blackberry curve. I had troubles with it acting wierd eg. no ringtones. When I took it back to the store they told me that for each application, I had to use the menu button, then scroll down to "close" to get out of the application - the two right-hand back and red buttons won't do the trick.
There's got to be an easier way. Some applications have menus that go on forever.

2. That's the one I'm using |

Then I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find "close".
A keyboard shortcut would be nice. They have "T" and "B" for email.

4. After you hit the Menu button (the one to the left of the trackball) |
|
hit the letter "C" and you will go to the next option that begins with C. Keep clicking "C" until you get to Close. Should only be one or two more clicks to get there.
This works with all Menus. For example, if you want to "View Week" in the Calendar Menu click "V" until you get to that item.
