Their first playoff game ever came under Jim Mora. They dominated the season, and many picked them as the best team that year. They started their first playoff game on fire, the it all fell apart and they lost badly by the end.
So maybe this is the reverse of that game. :)

I like Kurt Warner, and I know the Cardinals are due, too, but maybe it's the Saints year. Finally. Geeze, it took 20 years before the even had a winning season.

They are New Orleans's team. :)
Face it, the Cowboys tattooed that phrase on their star, and it ain't leaving. You have to admit, it was clever, considering how mad it makes everyone else in the league. :)
But hey, you got the Eagles! They throw stuff at Santa and gave Vick the courage award, so their pretty bold, too.
(I apologize. Low blow).

We can be having a losing season and we get more air time than most teams who are playing well. Nobody even thinks about most teams when they aren't playing well.

So probably most Saint fans are pulling for the Colts, until the Super Bowl, anyway.

Tom Benson's Republican, I'm sure a sizable portion of the Jets and Colts are Republican. If I'm going to watch football, I'm going to cheer for Republicans whether I like it or not.
They get paid ridiculuous amounts to beat each other senseless without thinking too much--of course they are Republicans. :)

And I grew up around Brett Favre when we were kids. So I'm really torn over this one. Then again, I won't be sad no matter who goes, now. :)
This will be the first time I've pulled for a team over the Cowboys in the playoffs, though. If they make it to the Saints, I mean.

He was running staduim steps at Hancock North Central because he had blown a play during practice. He was a freshman in high school and Irvin Farvre was his toughest coach.

43. First time I saw him... |
|
Was outside a trailer behind a butcher shop in Kiln. My friend, his brother and sister, and I were waiting in the car for my friend's mother to buy something, and my friend and his brother started teasing the sister, claiming she was in love with Favre. I of course joined in, and we spent that whole summer chanting "Amy loves Brett Favre, Amy loves Brett Favre!"
Amy denied it, of course. Once she yelled out "I don't even like Brett Favre, he's stuck up. He thinks he's so great just because he plays quarterback. The only reason he's a quarterback is because his daddy is the coach, he's no good at it!" I never knew anything else about him playing football until I accidentally watched his last bowl game at USM.
Why were you at Hancock North Central? Did you live there?

Congrats Saints.
I knew AZ didn't have a chance when Rodgers-Cromartie went down. McFadden and Adams can't cover and when he went down that meant they would have to guard their best receivers and 3rd and 4th options with rookies Toler and Abdullah on the field.
Saints 'O' made it look easy yesterday.

I knew it would be difficult enough with Rodgers-Cromartie. With him going down there was no chance in my mind.
Drew Brees is unbelievable at home. Over 9 YPA at the Superdome in the regular season, that stat is incredible.
