Netflix's documentary selections alone are worth the price of a minimum sign up.

3. A few instant movies I liked: |
|
The Orphanage
Goya's Ghost
Blow Dry
Michael Collins
Butterfly
Word Wars
Greenfingers
Nature: Pale Male
I like Killing Flies
Happy watching! I am actually thinking about downgrading my account and buying a Roku since I seem to watch a lot of instant movies. I especially like documentaries, and they seem to have a lot for instant viewing.

Not the US version, the UK was the first. I'm just finishing it up, and it's brilliant.

Really good. At one episode a week, It'll keep me till summer.
Then there's the follow up: Ashes to Ashes - whenever they decide to release it in Region 1.
For the original poster's list: Let the Right One In.

From the wiki entry: "The plot focuses on John Oldman, a departing teacher who claims to be a Cro-Magnon (or Magdalenian caveman) who has somehow survived for over 14,000 years. The only setting is in and around Oldman's house during his farewell party, with the plot advancing through intellectual arguments between Oldman and his fellow faculty."
