What's the only thing that keeps you hanging on?
For me it's Guitars, Cadillacs . . .

and hillbilly music

1. music, love, life, experiences, food, art....
There're just so many things which keep me moving on those awful days.

Plus - and I hate to get all serious here - I spent close to a decade wrongly blaming myself for someone else's death. I would not wish that on my worst enemy, much less those I love.

3. My cats.
There are few people I trust to care for them the way I want them to be cared for. And, the one I trust most has a "no pets" clause in her condo rental contract.

7. My wife, my bicycle and my cat.
The order varies from time to time. According to my wife she's always below the cat in the pecking order though. (Not true!)

9. I might agree. Spouse, then kids, then dogs...
with the order changing from time to time! :)

I worry about the kids being without me more than I do the dogs or my husband!

12. I just let my wife know that she can take care of herself if something happens to me.
Our cat (Lance) depends on us to provide food, water and a clean litter box.

There are days that the best thing that I can do for my wife is to take off on the bike for 3 or 4 hours and recharge my emotional batteries.

I'm usually a lot better husband after a bike ride on those days.
Of course, Lance is the first one to greet me when I get home so I have to pay attention to him first.

37. Forgetting that Florida went for Obama in the last election?
Whole lot of people (myself included) turned out to successfully resist the super-rich and their mindless redneck pawns.

It's a shitty state, I hate it, and I want to move away, but it's got some decent people living in it.
