A female coworker was at my desk explaining something to me and another coworker walks by my cubicle and yells at her "HEY!! How about Massachusetts last night?! Woo-hoo!" (we are in the Ca Bay Area) They hi-five each other and the woman responds, "Yeah it's a good day in Massachusetts!" with a big ol grin on her face. :puke:

This is the same woman who has a Palin/2012 sticker in her cubicle :puke: :puke: :puke:
She also has each fingernail painted with the american flag. I know it's gross, but I've wondered how many times she's picked her nose with those American Flag nails...

I hate the fact that teabaggers now feel legitimized.

Did anyone else have to deal with teabaggers celebrating at your job today??

I have to deal with assholes on a daily basis. I guess I was "lucky" not to be employed at this time, so I didn't have to put up with it.

If she's allowed to have a political bumpersticker in her cube, have you considered putting up a DU sticker (if you don't already have one, that is)? :)

7. I guess I've always been a believer in not talking about politics at work...

For both sides. I honestly have a hard time working with this woman because I know that she's a Palin lover/teabagger. Also, I know that I am the minority at work and guess I'm worried about being singled out if people know my political leanings.

I know I shouldn't worry about it, but in this economy I do.

I do have a DU sticker and I have plans for it on my soon-to-be new car :)

I guess it also depends on the size of the company. The smaller, the better. Sometimes.

The last place of employment for me was about ten people, and it was pretty well split. Unfortunately, the worst one was a piping designer that was not only (uneducated) neo-con, but racist, too. He never won arguments with me, and the other piping designer was on the fence politically, but still critical of Bush. He hated that even more since it was a woman disagreeing with him. Yes, he was sexist, too. He was also the first one to be laid-off, months before my turn :D

are in Japan. They don't care about MA. and since I work at home, I don't have to hear about all the happy Teabaggers who welcome the end times with joy in their hearts.

13. If you lean the "right" way, they don't mind turning a blind eye...

to those types of things. I'm also expected to recite the pledge of allegiance at every company meeting and a group prayer at every christmas party they throw. As a Democratic Socialist and an Atheist, this company is definitely not the ideal place for me socially, but it's a job...for now.

And by that, I'm referring to western civilization after President Palin takes office. My guess is the Mayans were about one year off with their predictions; surely her election alone won't be the basis for armageddon.
