Wondered if you got washed away. Didn't see you around here last night when the AZ crowd was talking about the weather. Did you hear? 75 mph sustained winds on Kitt Peak! Saw lots of Tucson amounts over an inch on the rain log site this morning. we had 98/100 at 7 this morning. yahoo!

11. Yeah, the gusts above 140 on Kitt Peak were amazing.

Surprisingly there was very little damage to the observatory.

Here in town, close to the UofA farm, it was fairly mild.

I like wet for a change of pace.

Just some gamma, brightness and contrast cleanup with a hint of blue and red added. I use ThumbsPlus for quick image cleanup instead of loading PhotoShop. Maybe a little too much red as the sky went a little pink back there...

10. I use my little Canon Powershot more than my Rebel XTI

because it's small and takes great photos, too :)

Perhaps now is the time to get out there taking some "real" photos? I haven't taken pics during the rain in a long time, partly because I don't know how the autofocus will react to a plastic bag over the camera ;)
