20. I used to live in the high California desert. We could see the Sierra Nevada in the
distance, beyond the nearer mountain range. I remember the Bristle-cone pines of the Inyo range in the snow. I'm partial to such landscapes. The American West has a full share of them. There are beautiful mountains near the Big Bend of the Rio Grande in Texas: I once saw the Big Bend in full bloom after a rare spring rain. The desert can be a wonderful place. The Guadalupe mountains outside El Paso are delightful. Much of New Mexico, as I remember it, is simply gorgeous

Ptah, that looks like here, although I know it's not. (Wish you were our neighbor, though. )

Oh, nice!

We've got some too, but I don't know if I'll have time to get any pics...

Thanks for sharing, sweetie!

19. Yes too cold.
This time of year it's nice to have a visual reminder
of why I don't live in my hometown in Montana.

23. I would show a picture from Flagstaff, but I cannot lift the camera yet.
The outrageous amounts of shoveling and ladder climbing have proven too much. I just got in from scraping the drive of the last 5 inches of this storm. We had over 50" in 5 days.

Here's a screen grab from the NAU webcam.
