Yesterday evening, the holy and pious people of Minnesota performed high holy rituals to insure the dominance of our warriors on the battlefield on Sunday. Hymns of praise were sung by those in attendance, who wore ritualistic garments blessed by the acolytes of United States Trademark Law. Sacred, enspirited beverages were drunken, and sacred, salted foods were eaten.

At the climax of this assembly of the poius and holy people of Minnesota, the false and heretical Saints of decadent New Orleans were destroyed in effigy by a pair of skilled holy men of great ability driving, their massive, iron-willed steeds running roughshod over the token Saints.


With such a power blessing, how can the holy and pious people of Minnesota have their brave Viking warriors lose to the followers of the false Saints?????






Translation: At a monster-truck rally at the Metrodome last night, "Gravedigger" and "Bounty Hunter" squashed flat an old camper painted black, with the Saints logo painted somewhat crudely on the side

Being a sometimes lonely ex-pat, I read the Times Picayune online. The headline today announced that the city is pretty much closed for business today, unless you have liquor and a big screen. My sister is torturing me with text messages about crawfish and pinot gris.
