So I met this neat guy at Montana Slim in Tahoe Saturday night...

...and in the course of conversation we find that we are both liberals.
hehe big surprise, the type of music is a Hippie Magnet!

...anyway, as I'm leaving and we say how nice it was to meet & talk and no other information is presented to 'continue' the conversation..( I mean, I am not gonna whip out my business card at the guy!)

so I tell him about DU and how it's my fave & only great liberal hangout online...

and I tell him my postname and tell him to come & 'look' for me if he wants.


then after the beer wears off I realize that was so silly & stupid!
I post here about my personal life in ways I wouldn't because of the internet anonimity thing

I love that place.

And I have personal cards that I give out at shows. Facebook and website info and stuff about me (likes, hobbies,etc) including a space for writing where we met etc.... Just make em on word and get some biz card paper...

10. I love Tahoe.....

Mostly North Shore (crystal Bay) but I love Divided sky. Phish phans own it and they put on some cool shows. Seen Blue turtle there a few times. We made sure to stop on out way to Festival 8 at DS..

The tahoe crowd is pretty tight knit too and that makes it fun...

You know I told myself when I came up here to live that the day I am driving to work and the views no longer take my breath away, is the day I leave...

hasn't happened yet!

I may hate the snow sometimes and gripe for most of the cold winter, but the summer makes up for it is the awesomest ways...!!!
Love hiking out my back door and taking my kids for walks all seasons of the year and teaching them ecology and how to look for frogs, and why the bear hibernates and all the coolness of living in the wild...

too bad the economy sux right now, because it really IS a slice O' Heaven ;)
