1. I agree... it's cool. And affordable.
The free version is good, but it's only $36 a year for unlimited access and no ads. And you can use a little dedicated application for the Mac, instead of having a browser window open.

If you have a Roku player for watching Netflix, it can play Pandora streams through your TV or home entertainment center. I think some Blu-Ray players and maybe the PS3 are also compatible.

4. Alas, they banned Canada from even viewing the front page awhile back
The site was fantastic while we were allowed to use it though.

7. I love Pandora!
My daughter pointed it out to me quite a while ago. You can set up more than one radio station, depending on your mood. I have three.

8. I flop back and forth between Pandora and somafm.com
The latter isn't a "make your own radio station" but they do play some wonderful music, especially the "Secret Agent" station :D

10. I've listened to Groove Salad for nearly a decade.
It's on pretty much any time I'm in my office, including right now.
Back when I started listening, they only had Drone Zone, Secret Agent, & Groove Salad. They've added a lot more since, but those three are still my faves.

Though Doomed worked really well for background music at my Halloween party :)

11. I love it!
I've been introduced to a whole new genre of music through it (Ska). It definitely makes the work day go quicker!
