Is there anything more exciting than an estate planning seminar?

Watching a continuing legal education program on the creation and administration of special needs trusts. What could be more exciting?

1. As a matter of fact

the "Geospatial Jobs and the 2010 Economy" webinar I'll be listening to today at noon. Actually, I am looking forward to it :D

2. This thing is a mixed bag

The first part dealt with Medicaid, SSI, and other public assistance programs (eligibility, appeals process, etc). The estate planning part is torture. My practice really doesn't deal in estate planning and trust creation. I do some pro bono work for public assistance claimants and dealt with welfare issues as an elected official, so it probably isn't bad to have a basic understanding of the trusts, though.

3. I can't say I would remain awake for long at such a seminar,

but it certainly is good information to know, and important to many people, including ourselves :)

4. Yes, there is. Root Canal comes to mind. :) nt
