Petfinder says this is a Labrador mix

That dog "could be" part lab. Petfinder and others know that Labradors are hugely popular, so they throw it out there a LOT.

they certainly do. I am going to go take a look, but I was just pondering after looking at just the pictures, and thought..."no way, that is not a labrador mix, that is a weimeraner mix"

16. A pic of my old Lab near your petfinder pup

The petfinder pup has pitbull eyes but the lab muzzle and ears. He looks like a choc lab and pittie mix to me.

22. because of the white spot i'd say chocolate lab and

some kind of hound or dalmatian. it's face almost says weimaraner, coonhound, vizsla or dalmatian to me. labs tend to have broader heads an narrow muzzles. this dog seems to have a more svelte head shape with the narrow muzzle (although it's foreshortened in the picture). labs also tend to have shorter more pointed tip ears and this dog has longer more rounded tip ears like the wimaraners and coonhounds.

25. Chocolate Lab. The most popular dog in my area is the Lab.

Yellow, Chocolate and Black Labs. So many of them look just like this dog. Seeing the full size and shape of the dog would be a help but one look at that loving, smart face tells me it is a young Lab.

29. I can't get a good grasp on the size ot it from the pic, but it definitely looks part Lab.

I could see it being a Lab/Beagle mix where it got most of it's coloring from the Lab side.
