I actually go to 4chan. Ask me anything. |
|
In light of the previous thread that 4chan has discovered this site, I like to make a moment to make this thread. So ask me anything.

OOOOOOOOOH :P
Please don't say Tits or GTFO. That gets SO old.
I don't understand the assholeishness of some of those jerks.
Does going on 4Chan for a long period of time make you feel a little less human?

You have to understand that /b/ is more of a black humor imageboard of 4chan. Add anonymity to the mix, and the end result is the rampant misogamy. But that only happens on /b/ as many /b/tards and 4channers will not do this in real life.
Oh yes, a little less human. To me no. It depends on which imageboard you go to , if on /b/ then yes. But in one of the more tame imageboards, most likely no.

5. 4chan is also known by it's full name by Yotsuba channel. |
|
Edited on Sat Jan-30-10 09:54 PM by Jkid
It's based on 2chan aka Fubata channel, which comes from the same people who go to 2ch (aka 2channel) the largest BBS forums of the World. 4chan is an anonymous imageboard website which allows people to post pictures and discuss anonymously.
4chan was created by former Something Awful user Christoper “moot” Poole, who is actually an massive otaku (or depending on your point of view, weeaboo) . He first created 4chan with one image board /b/-Random/Anime. It was widely successful. Eventually there came other subforums of the website, such as /a/-Anime which was originally a worksafe version of /b/ which eventually became a primary source of anime and manga discussion.Despite the fact that it’s a general imageboard website based on anime, most of the news 4chan created comes from /b/-Random, because the rest of the imageboards are in actuality just anonymous versions of other internet forums of simlar of same general topics.
Simplistic in it's design, anyone can just start a thread with a message and picture. The other user can simply reply with a text reply and add a picture or add a picture alone as a reply. The end result are threads of numerous variates from simple discussion threads to "imagedumps" (where 4channers just upload pictures of a certain theme or person, place, or thing.) The true result is a culture of contribution to the discussion thread or the content with knowledge or information.
Wikipedia has more information about 4chan however it's a bit biased towards /b/ (aka the asshole of the internet), because the remaining imageboards are anonymized versions of similar forums on the intnernet.

6. No shame in that. 4chan could teach DU a few things. |

It's got a better sense of humor, for example. And moderation.

SA forums goon here, you 4channers certainly are a rebellious lot.
You need to produce better memes, I haven't seen anything approaching the classic shoopdawoop in a very long time.

29. you know, i used to be jealous of her. |
|
But then I saw the pics of how she looks "IRL" and realized she's not as "gawwwwwgeous" as the /b/tards made her out to be. She's actually quite normal looking, and it was obvious that she was just playing a part for the cameras. Not hard to do.
I kinda feel bad for her though, now her face will be plastered all over the internet forever. And the amount of stalking /b/ does...it's almost scary. Give them two minutes and they'll have found her address and phone number and last name and I'm pretty sure they could find her SSN if prompted.

(he clicks off the second I go in the room)
Now he's 21 years old, and he knows that I'm not particularly sqeamish.. so his clicking away from the site the way he does makes me apprehensive....
