Was looking at NBC's Olympic fan page on Facebook.
I'd say about 75% of the posts in the "Just Fans" section were from people complaining about the quality of NBC's coverage.

3. Not as bad as Nagano, though. That was the WORST
Ten minutes of action, ten minutes of ads and "highlights of upcoming action,' ten minutes of sob stories about athletes plus Bill Geist playing asshole tourist, and "Oh, right, there are some events going on," so ten minutes of action, ten minutes of ads and "highlights," etc.

4. I hate those fucking sob stories.
If it is something pertinent and very short, fine show it. Half the time it's something pointless like "In the 5th grade she had to move away from her childhood friends to a new school..." and it lasts about 30 minutes.

6. LOL, yes, quelle tragique. But the one tonight about the snowboarder
whose brother has CP and has always inspired him, was cool. Especially when we got to see him get the gold medal and hear O Canada. But, I'm pretty much a sucker for most sob stories.
:hi:

5. People LOVE to complain
Remember the old ATA forum on DU? It was a hilarious whine fest.

7. I totally agree with most of the posters- their coverage is awful
I've watched plenty of Alpine coverage online and you get to see everything, with no blathering.
