6. I'm waiting
I'm waiting for a Roomba that's smart enough to navigate power cords, area rug edges, and maybe even the odd bit of clothing left on the floor. Last I checked, all 3 of these can cause the Roomba to freak out and fail.

Though your pic shows a Roomba along the edge of a carpet. Has technology marched ahead already? Even if carpets are no longer a problem though, the power-cord thing is the real deal-breaker for me.

These days, I just wait until the floor is filthy before digging out the old Electrolux. Vacuuming manually once every 3 months or so is not too bad.

7. Have the "Dirt Dog" sweeper, which is similar
Used it some on hardwood and linoleum and it does OK. Seems to require a VERY long charge to run a pretty short time.
