(And by terrestrial species we're talking about amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals).

2. Gosh, I can only think of the traditional
ones. Even with fish in the mix, it's still way less than 15--cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and guinea hens. I refused all my life to eat anything else. Nowadays, chicken is the only one I eat for the most part, and then only about twice a week.

4. Well, since I'm a foodie and former US Army Special Forces....
(also known as "snake eaters"), I've fairly enjoyed my status at the top of the food chain. I don't even know the names of some of the creatures I've consumed.

But none of it was gratuitous.

31. Just about anything that ever walked or crawled. Deer, squirrel, rabbit., turtle, rattlesnake....
....moose, goose, chicken, Galapogos tortoise, Bald Eagle,
Burmese python, ostrich, pig, cow, sheep, goat....

I once ate an inch-thick steak that had been cut
from the HEART of a "Wooly Mammoth" that had been
chainsawed & crane-lifted out of the Canadian permafrost....
It tasted like 'American Bison' that had been in the freezer too long.

Frankly, it was no 'Kurobota Pork', I telyawhut!
