So, I didn't get picked for Jury Duty today. |
I actually really wanted to be picked, but it was no surprise- sex abuse case against a minor and I'm a foster care case manager. Me, the nurse, and the elementary school teacher were pretty much getting the boot from the moment they announced the case, but we had to sit there all day anyway.
Oh well. Would have been interesting, but I suppose there's always next time.

1. Might be for other reasons. |
If the investigation was screwed up and the defense is false allegation, the prosecutor might have booted you because you know how the investigation should have went.

2. No prosecutor in his/her right mind |
Is going to continue the prosecution of a case where they know of improprieties, bad investigations, etc.
