Jan. 1, 2010 - 233 lbs
Feb. 1, 2010 - 223 lbs
Mar. 1, 2010 - 217.5 lbs
Now, I enter a crucial period in this weight loss plan. My aim is to get my weight to under 210 when the weather here turns warm because once the weather is nice, I can do more activities like run outside and go for long walks.

Are you employing any special method? I am currently on my own plan - old school - cutting calories, and working out like CRAZY. You seem to moving along at a fairly good clip. Any tips?
Sending good wishes...:hi:

5. Greatly Reduce Carbs and Eliminate Sugar Entirely |
|
As for exercise, moderate impact for long minutes many times a week. Today is the 60th day of the year, and so far I am 42-18 in terms of going to the gym (42 days of working out and 18 days of not).
I see people at my gym pay a trainer for their workouts and they do these crazy workouts, but never lose a pound.
I just put the treadmill on a steep hill and just walk for 50 minutes or a light jog for an hour.

6. Dammit! I knew you were going to say that |

about the carbs and sugar. I've cut down quite a bit, but those two things are my biggest weaknesses. I'm pretty good with the exercise - an hour and a half at least six days a week (45-50 min. cardio, the rest of the time I alternate between yoga and strength).
I've only lost 27 pounds in the last nine months. Guess I'll have to cut back even more on the carbs!
Thanks so much for the tips, and keep us updated.

With the warmer weather you'll reach your goal. It may take a bit of time, but if you exercise you will get there.

what would you do when you reach your aim - weight under 210 lb, i mean, would you try to keep your weight on that level, or would you you keep going? and one more question - do you have any "calorie-content "daily"?

9. When I reach 210, I'm going to keep going until I hit 180 |
|
It will be much, much easier to do so when the weather is warm.
No, I don't track calorie content. I do track carbs and sugars.

I really, really need to join the gym.. I'm not overweight but somewhat out of shape(I've been saying I need to join the gym for two years now... I need to get off my rear and do it...)
