Genius. Still true. Rappers knowledgable about their roots credit this
man as proto-rap.

Almost 10 mins of a 12-min piece -- the ending goes on-and-on well
beyond the cutoff point of this recording.

Unlike "Layla", the ending of which I find insufferable, or "Hey Jude" --
the ending of which could have gone on for decades as it was the first
song to which I slow-danced close and tight to -- THIS ending's hypnotic
effect is art... and powerful.
