1. Short answer: "no."
Those steaks would be good for feeding a whole family for a holiday diner.

4. We used to eat at the Big Texan every year on vacation before I-40 replaced Rte. 66.
One time we were there and a trucker ate the whole thing.

5. A slice of tomato and two mushrooms?!?!?!?
.
Methinks that "Garnishier" was being more than a little snarky.
.
Don't you have pepper to grind or sumpin'?
.

.
I might REALLY enjoy a challenge like that, but with that much
red meat, I would have to do it at the very beginning of a very
long holiday weekend, to leave time for my three-day camp-out
atop the commode.
.
.
"HONEY? Are you in there setting your marshmallows on fire again!?!?"
.

18. Some of those, you're basically looking at a monster Chateaubriand
Some of those steaks would feed six people easily. So...what I think I would do is visit the restaurant and tell 'em: I've got a kid who's having his 16th birthday, I want to do something really special. I want you to cook us one of those 80 ounce (or whatever it is) steaks, bring it to the table and set it in the middle like it was a centerpiece. We need six baked potatoes, six servings of vegetables, six one-trip salad bars and a very sharp knife to slice this behemoth. At the end of it we'd like a nice birthday cake. How much? I know Denny's Beer Barrel Pub will sell you one of their challenge hamburgers that way--people bring Little League teams in to share two or three of the sandwiches--so, especially if they knew it was for a birthday thing, I think they'd be perfectly happy to do it. Probably cost you $120, but what the hell.

19. 72 oz'er at Saylers old country kitchen in PDX
Its a sad thing for me. 5 years ago, I could probably have done it(95% sure). But 5 years ago I didn't dare, because if I were to fail, I couldn't back the cost of the meal. Now, it would be Iffy as to whether I could do it(no better'n 50/50), my eating has become more restrained. Plus I still can't back the cost of the meal were I to fail.

If I ever get diagnosed with untreatable irrevocably fatal anything, that attempt will be jumping much higher on my to do list. Right now, its not even on the list. #3,5,6 all look pretty tasty, with visual preference going to #5. No way I could do 120, thats out of my league in the best or worst of times. Plus I don't do Fungi. #2 and 4 do not look like good meat to me. And a lot would depend on trimmings. If theres a shrimp cocktail or anything with mayo, I'm out.
