10. I don't think so but here's directions at the Expo Center web site
http://www.mecexpo.com/directions.html
They say that there's service to the Expo Center from Port Authority in NYC.

Do a Google map search for <port authority, new york city>. I did it but the url was so long and it got screwed up when I tried to post it here. There will be a pointer "A" that pinpoints the location of the Port Authority Bus Terminal located at 625 8th Avenue in NYC. You can get a bus there that will drop you off at the door of the Expo Center per the Center's web site above.

I hope this helps.

6. I'm not the traveler
Just trying to do the research for someone else. I'm 3,000 miles away with Internet. He's on Amtrak.

11. His train ticket should say which one he's going to
If he's going to the one in NYC, then he'll land near the Port Authority bus station. He could get a cab, it's only 9 blocks.

Penn Station is at 8th Avenue and 33rd St.
Port Authority is at 8th Avenue and 42nd St.

I couldn't figure out how far Penn Station NYC is from Port Authority bus station. Now I know.

How much snow is on the ground? He's fully loaded with baggage, going to convention.

12. There's a Penn Station almost everywhere. Amtrak is the ruins of the old Pennsylvania RR.
I'm pretty sure there's a set fee for all cabs. At least there was one for Newark Airport. You could probably email any NYC hotel and ask.

Meadowlands Exposition Center directions, if they haven't already been posted: http://www.mecexpo.com/directions.html
