It just makes you feel worse if it fails after that. Getting your hopes up and having them dashed is why people are afraid to assume the best before it happens.

Something that's been in the works and early stages since last summer.
I'm romantically involved with a really sweet guy and I am going to move in with him, and he's mentioned plans for our wedding. Shhh.
