A poem for my husband...

Because today, his doctor successfully removed the kidney stone that had troubled him recently...

And I realized all over again how much my husband means to me.

Bedrock

I watch my
husband’s
face
all the pain lines

gone

and I realize
anew

he is my
bedrock

We were so
young

so damn

forever
