exploring nature on a 4 wheeler is a blast
we have finally got enough break in the weather here to do more with the 4 wheelers than be a taxi.

Me and the next door neighbor went exploring this evening on new paths.

We saw AT LEAST 40 deer..a pride of bobcats..just SO MUCH!..we saw turkeys..scared up some grouse..so much fun

Makes you appreciate nature when you get to sit on top of a hill and watch a herd of deer play in the woods

1. Isn't that kind of like exploring a tree with a chainsaw?

3. we DO tread lightly
I dought we ever hit over ten MPH

It's beautiful here..snow and all.

Tell me anywhere else you can sit in silence and see 40 or more deer and a pride of bobcats at the same sitting.

I LOVE my mountain

5. There are many responsible ATV riders. They are not all destructive
maniacs.
There are environmentalists and others that use ATV's for transport in the rural and off road areas.
Just like there are responsible hikers, campers, etc.

6. For the love of all that is holy, DON'T post this in GD!
On second thought, that could be awfully entertaining...

7. We've got some old railbeds need exploring, and 4-wheelers are on our list to get someday to go
exploring on.

Lotta deer this winter, though -- not interested in seeing more. And now the wolves are following the deer.

8. this is personal flamebait for me
I hate those fucking things.

and I fully confess that at least 15% of my hatred is envy. The rest you have heard before, I am sure. Try walking or horseback. You'll see 10 times what you see on those things.
