Dog owners...pee stains on carpet?
Friend of mine is trying to get pee stains from their new dog out of her carpet.

Any suggestions?

1. "Nature's Miracle," available @Petsmart and other stores.
It is an enzyme-based cleaner that breaks down the urine so it can be washed away. Follow direction on the bottle. There are other products available as well. I'm just not that familiar with them and Nature's Miracle has worked well.

2. If the dog is caught in the act pour a pyramid of salt on the puddle-
the fluid is drawn up into the salt.
I'll let someone else suggest a stain remover...I adopted a 2 year old dog, already housebroken, and it's been twenty years since we had a pup that pees on the floor, so there might be a better cleaner now.
