1. I kid you not...
.
... I read that as "Where is the airHEAD sensor located?" and
my wee kneejerk reaction was, "Certainly not in the male groin."

2. One should never use wee and the male groin in the same sentence.

3. I'm sorry, but I'm a little stiff right now...
.
... and I can't quite close the "O" of the highfive-like "OK" I'm trying to give you.
.
That's my story... and I'm sticking with it.
.
And I'm disappointed in you -- you seem to be ignoring my "wee kneejerk reaction".
.
(sigh) Dont worry. Everybody seems to ignore that.

4. Depends on the car.
Some of the older cars equipped with airbags had a single sensor in the grill. If the "crunch zone" of the car ever came close to crumpling, the airbag would go off.
Some others put the single sensor under the front bumper. (This was the worst) Any front impact strong enough to compress the bumper almost into the body of the car would cause deployment. You could do it with a bat.

Now, though, there are usually A LOT of airbag sensors. They're more sophisticated than the older style and designed only to go off when the car experiences a crash that would definitely injure the driver more without the airbag. The major drawback of these systems is usually the expense. A tripped system can cost several thousand dollars to replace.

So I guess the short answer is, it depends on the car. Check your manual.

Unless, of course, you were making a Limbaugh joke...

8. It does indeed.
I thought that kind of pointless contrariness was reserved for GD, R/T, I/P, and the Gungeon.
