Anybody else watching the Oscars not recognize many of the representers?

I don't go to the movies very often. (I have RLS and can't sit still very long, and I hate bothering people when I get restless.)

There were a lot of young'ns up on stage that made me say "Who the heck is THAT?"

1. Recognized almost all of them...

...except for that young lady with the bobbed blond hair who presented an award or two with Zoe Saldana. (Watching those two young ladies walk down those stairs was an adventure in itself. You could tell they were trying not to tumble to their deaths, every elegant step in unison, eyes straight down, focused on their next step. One of them commented on it when they finally reached the microphone.) I think she was up for one of the female actor awards. Lead or supporting, I don't remember which. Cute as a button, though. And yeah, she looked all of twelve.

3. I don't go to the movies very often, either. I didn't see

that much of the Academy Awards, but I didn't even recognize that many people in the audience! I was happy to see that whenever the camera was aimed at that yummy George Clooney, he was not laughing at the lame jokes. I hope he continues to stay perfect by never marrying and never having kids. :)

I only made it till 10:20, so I missed Barbra Streisand. I would have recognized her! LOL

They are trying to make the Oscars appeal to a different crowd, but it's not working.
