Left thigh/pocket area of my slacks pilling, wearing out--how to stop it?
I concluded this was caused by my seatbelt, so I bought one of those fuzzy things with velcro that you can put around the seatbelt in the appropriate spot.

I'm still having the problem.

Anybody else having this problem? The pilling and wearing is ONLY on the left. I used to think it was caused by keys, but I never put them in my pocket nowadays.

4. Try dressing to the right instead of left for a while
I try to balance things out by alternating days.

6. Place a folded towel on your lap while you drive (it also soaks up coffee spills);
I tend to keep one or two old towels in the car -they come in handy for lots of things: Spills/"Lapkin"/foggy windows, etc.

7. Serious question...
What do you do with your left leg when you drive? Your right leg is stretched out because it's on the accelerator or brake. Unless you have a standard tyranny, your left leg doesn't move much. Think about your daily driving position... I'm willing to to bet your left thigh is at a higher left than your right one, that is why it's rubbing only on that side.
