So one of my heroes, Todd Rundgren, did A Wizard, A True Star

last year as a limited run of about 9-10 shows.

Just learned tonight that this coming fall, he's gonna do the whole of the "Todd" Album. Opening set: The entirety of "Healing."

What an undertaking, eh, for just a handful of shows? folks familiar w/ those records will realize how much music that is to rehearse. And none of it has been in set rotation for 20-25 yrs or so.

This makes me really happy.

The recordings I've heard of the AWATS shows were great. Very disappointed he didn't bring it to Philly.

2. Yes. Announced last night. And all over TRC today.

You may be in luck. All 6 dates are supposed to stay away from the two coasts and be bigger cities (I think that's what I heard.)
