Possibly the most screwed-up juxtaposition of banner and content in WWW history
I read Pearls Before Swine on comics.com. Today's strip features Pig the Blues Singer.

The banner: an ad for DQ's new bacon cheeseburgers.

1. OUCH! But I think I have a better one.
A while back there was a news story about a cruise ship with hundreds of people who were violently ill. The banner ad was for a travel agency specializing in cruises (including a picture of a cruise ship).

That's when context-specific advertising goes bad.
