They are just the whites of the eggs, so they are still eggs, just very little yolk. They do not explode in the microwave like real eggs do. Sometimes with real eggs no matter how much you mix them up they still have these volcanic air pockets that will explode as soon as the spoon his them.
Egg beaters don't do that. They are good cause they are still real eggs.

Makes them too rubbery and foamy in the mic.
I have an awesome new non stick pan. Works nearly just as fast and is easier to clean.
