computer question / internet question |

i'm sposed to be getting 10k kbps down, and test shows i'm usually around 9800. but it seem lately trying to watch anything on youtube is bunch of pauses for buffering as the red line crawls across the bottom of the screen.
is 10k not enuff? seems it used to be. or is there some setting that needs tweeking? vista is the OS.

1. Depends on what you're downloading. Many factors determine speed. |

I've got fairly fast cable ( 1.5 mps) and sometimes when I'm trying to watch something on youtube, it's a S-L-O-W crawl...
There might be 10,000 people trying to download the same video.

Also, make sure your Flash plugin is up to date.
As well, if you have a slow connection, let the video start > pause it and make sure the red bar loads all the way to the end and then bring the timeline bar back to the beginning and click the play button.
