provided it's the flavored instant Quaker Oats kind or cooked with brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins. Uncooked regular oatmeal I use in pancakes; 1/4 - 1/2 c to every batch of pancake batter I make.

I eat oatmeal everyday, with a little skim milk and peanut butter. I eat it because it's healthy though not for the taste. For taste I'd eat grits with lotsa butter, salt and crumbled bacon- MMM so so good.
